Cyberjaya 5-Star Resort Getaway – 2D1N at Cyberview Resort & Spa

Just got back from a short staycation at Cyberview Resort & Spa in Cyberjaya and thought I’d share a bit about it. I wasn’t planning anything fancy — just needed a break and some fresh air — but this place turned out to be a really nice surprise. It’s a 5-star resort, with all the facilities I needed. And it feels more like a peaceful spot tucked away in nature, perfect for switching off for a while.

Fun fact: Cyberview was originally built to host world leaders during the APEC Summit back in 1998.

The Room
I stayed in the Executive Deluxe Chalet — and wow, the room was huge. It had a canopy bed, sofa bed, a bar counter, fridge, and even a proper work desk (though let’s be real, I didn’t touch any work). The bathroom came with a bathtub and rain shower, which was perfect for winding down. Everything had this warm wooden vibe — very cozy.

What You’ll Find Around the Resort
The resort is pretty well-equipped, especially if you don’t feel like leaving once you check in. There’s a:

  • Swimming pool (with areas for kids and a waterfall)
  • Gym
  • Spa (called Sembunyi Spa — didn’t try it but it looked really nice)
  • Kids’ playroom
  • Pet house (yes, there were rabbit and birds!)
  • Plus lots of trees and paths for walking or cycling

Parking was super easy too — plenty of space, right outside the chalet.

High Tea with A View
In the late afternoon, I had high tea at the balcony. The food was a nice mix of local bites — fried meehoon with fried shrimps, fruit rojak, passembur, and some pastries. Just chilled there while enjoying the pool view. Not bad at all.

Dinner Vibes at Karma Bar & Lounge
For dinner, I went to Karma Bar & Lounge. There was a live duo band playing (pretty good, actually), and I ordered Hawaiian chicken pizza, mixed satay (beef, chicken and mutton), some sandwiches, and a couple of mocktails. It had that comfy lounge vibe — not too noisy, just enough to feel like you’re out.

Breakfast Spread at Verandah
Next morning, breakfast was at Verandah Restaurant. The buffet had both local and western stuff — I went for nasi lemak, a bit of porridge, and ended with waffles and toast. Plenty of fresh fruit too. Not over the top, just a solid breakfast to start the day.

Other Eateries in Cyberview Resort & Spa
1. Xing Zhu Chinese Restaurant
An elegant dining venue specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine, including a variety of dim sum dishes. The restaurant features a tranquil setting with views of lush greenery.

2. Bistro Cascata Italian Restaurant
A charming Italian fusion restaurant housed in a cozy, castle-like setting. Guests can savor Italian favorites such as wood-fired pizzas and pastas in an intimate ambiance.

    3. Chillax Pool Bar
An outdoor bar located by the pool, providing a variety of drinks and light bites. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the soothing sights and sounds of the resort’s surroundings.

    Quick Info

All in all, it was just what I needed — quiet surroundings, comfy room, good food, and a bit of nature. If you’re ever thinking of a quick escape from the city that’s not too far but still feels like a proper break, Cyberview Resort & Spa is a pretty solid option. Might even go back again just for that high tea by the balcony.
