Best Place for Authentic Asam Pedas Johor and Melaka at Kantin Asam Pedas

@kantinasampedas, located at the ground level of Residensi Bistari, Taman Ukay Bistari, serves variety of flavourful asam pedas dishes, specifically the Johor and Melaka styles. ❤️Interesting fact: The owner (husband) is from Johor while the wife (Kak Lin) is from Melaka. Hence, their food is really authentic. Cukup rasa!

You will sure love their mouthwatering Asam Pedas Kepala Ikan, Asam Pedas Ikan Merah, Asam Pedas Telur Mayung, Asam Pedas Tetel, Bawal Goreng dan macam-macam lagi! I love these with white rice. Tambah nasi lagi! Perrgghh!

Oh! Never forget to try their Cekodok too. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Marvellous! 👌🏼 Makan sahaja tak cukup, tapao lagi!

On Fridays, they give out free dessert too like that day I went, got bubur kacang hijau.

I love the ambience here. Very nostalgic kampung feel. Instantly brought me back to my childhood days. The walls are decorated with so many classical items like old handphones, cigarette boxes, posters and many more.
