Finding Your Tutor or Students Online

When I was in my primary school time, I used to go for tuition classes with a teacher near my house. She is such a great teacher that with her lessons, I got the first placing in my class for 5 consecutive years. I take this opportunity to thank Teacher Chong Mee Yue for her dedication and effort.

During my secondary school time, I went to classes in tuition centres around Pudu area. Not that they are not good. It is just that attending a big group tuition class is very much different from being taught by a teacher on one-to-one basis. You get a lot more attention when you are being taught in a small group.

After my Degree, I worked part time as a tuition teacher for almost 2 years, tutoring students of Form 3 and Form 5. I taught Bahasa Malaysia, English, Geography, History and Science.  Eventually, I stopped tutoring because I did not have enough time as my workload increased.

Everything is going online nowadays. If you are a student looking for a tuition teacher OR a teacher looking for a student, fret not. I came across this website which has a pool of data of tutors and students, ready and standing by to serve you.

The great thing about this website is that you can actually choose your tutor from the neighborhood nearby. For instance, if you are staying in Puchong, just click on the link or do a search. Then the whole list of tutors in Puchong will appear. On the other hand, if you are a teacher looking for students in that area, the same thing, just do a search and the whole list of students in Puchong will be displayed.

This website is not only limited to Klang Valley. I am impressed that their database is extended to further areas like Rawang, Kuching, Semenyih, Nilai, Ipoh, Penang and even as far as Singapore! I believe this would help parents and students who are searching for tuition teachers who are located near them. Saving time and more cost effective.

I would definitely recommend this website to all my friends with children who need a tutor. It is simple and easy. Bookmark this page, have you?

Also, don’t miss out their blog.

Looking for a Toyota Vellfire in Carsifu

Image

To ease the process of looking for cars, one may go to the Internet to survey around for the best vehicle which suit their needs and lifestyle. Have you heard of Carsifu.com? It is basically ‘classifieds’ website for vehicles of many brands, ranging from Proton and Perodua to Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Not only you can search for new or secondhand cars available for sale, you can also sell your car there. Just register yourself and login.

In the website, there is a hire purchase calculator which helps you count out the monthly installment you need to repay for your purchase. It helps save a lot of time and trouble. Also for interested or potential customers, all you need to do is to click on the link to the vehicle you prefer and fill out the contact box to the seller. The seller will contact you back for further details. This is something similar to iProperty website.

As a proud owner of a Toyota Avanza, I enjoy driving an MPV very much. Not just it is spacious enough for a family of six, it is also convenient to transport my luggage and stuff whenever I travel outstation. Driving a bigger vehicle is now my personal preference.

With Carsifu.com, I think it would be easier for me to hunt for my next car (soon). Let us say, I am looking for Toyota Vellfire. All I need to do is to make a search of brand and the model and the whole list of Toyota Vellfire will appear. I could even narrow down my search by selecting different production years.

Definitely, there are much improvement the website could do in the short future. For instance, it would be helpful if the website could offer an advanced search feature by adding on search details like Colour, Displacement (CC), Steering Wheel, Auto/Manual, Airbags and other specifications to help users shorten their searching process.

My Most Anticipated Race, the KL Rat Race 2012

I have been looking forward to run in the KL Rat Race since I started working. And finally after all these years, I got to be one of the representatives from my current employment. It’s a 4.5km run on 25 Sept 2012. It’s like an early birthday gift.

I finished the race in 25:24s. It was such an honour to have a chance to rep the company. Thank you, F&N!
