I would like to share with u a kind of fungi soup which I’ve tried in Shanghai. The first sip, I’ve already fall in love with this soup. I learned to cook it when I came back to Malaysia. Indeed it’s easy to make.
Prepare 5 types of different fungi; white oyster mushroom, grey oyster mushroom, shiitake, golden mushroom and straw mushroom. Boil a pot of water and add in all those fungi into the hot water. Boil until the taste is right (approximately about 20 – 30 minutes). Add salt to taste.
Serve when it’s hot.
