We Were in Bali (Part 1)

Went to Bali last week (19 – 23 April 2010) after more than one year of waiting (from the date we booked the Air Asia tickets). It’s a very budget trip which we got the free air tix and cheap hotel accomodation with Tune Hotel. All that I can say is, if you’re planning a trip to PD, why not Bali? 🙂

Checked in to Tune Hotel. We were welcomed with strings of frangipani in the airport, which smelled good…

Hungry… had our first dinner at this Chinese restaurant in Discovery Mall. Mine was this seafood fried beehoon (with loads of scallops and prawns).

On the next morning, Mein and I walked around Kuta street before our ground tour. This picture was taken at a temple along the way.

This is the main tourist area of Kuta. I took this picture on our second day and something happened on the fourth day on this exact spot! You’ll see it in my next post.

On our first ground tour, we were taken to a few tourist spots like Taman Ayun Temple, Ubud paddy hills and bla bla bla… I was rather disappointed that it was raining the whole time and we couldn’t even take good pictures. *damn*

These stack of keychain souvenirs were found in Sukawati market. We were laughing all the way when we saw this. Plus the vendor trying her best selling them to us. Can you spot why it’s so funny? (Hint : "SARAWAK"…)

This is Tanah Lot Temple. It was late when we reached here. We just snapped pictures from afar. Anyway, nothing much here. All we saw were sea of people flooding the whole area…

Mein favourite snack – jagung bakar! Yummy!

This was Nasi Bebek Penyet which I liked most. The red hot chille sauce was really super spicy! Yes I like!
