A Trip Down South (JB & Singapore)

Finishing 2010 with a trip down to the South (JB & Singapore). I really thank Tune Hotels for their great RM0.01 room promotion. Had great nights in Tune Hotel Danga Bay. The boss really care about our pockets! 🙂

: Photo moment with Marina Bay Sands

We actually checked in into Singapore 2 days straight (1 & 2 November 2010). The first day was a bit tiring as we took the public transports (bused and MRT) around the island. But the experience was amazing. Sourcing for delicious food and gifts were actually what we did there. And another important mission we were there was to pay a visit to the internationally acclaimed Marina Bay Sands.

On the second day, we took the bus directly from Tune Hotel to Universal Studio Singapore. I booked the bus tickets online when I booked the rooms. It’s definitely the best way to travel there. Direct and fast! The bus went to USS via the Second link and dropped us all right at the car park of USS.

We were kids again when we were in USS. All those cartoon characters and movie heroes and villians were so familiar as you always see them on TV. Don’t forget to take the ride in the “Egyptian-themed” park. It was extremely breath-taking but definitely worth a try. Took a lot of pictures with the mascots and Betty Boops was the best one. She praised us as we were great posers while taking photograph with her. Hahaha!
