Our New Bed!
Finally, after all the while living with backache and uncomfortable sleep… Our new bed is finally here! It’s also an item which we’ll be shifting in to the new house when the house is ready… Can you see how anxious and excited are we on our new house?! Haha!
The mattress is a queen size Master Coil with 12 years warranty, free 2 pillows and 1 bolster… For the first time, Mein and I can’t wait for the night to come to enjoy our good night sleep!!! Wuuhooo!!!
Also the bedsheet was chosen because of its bright colour and flowerish design… Grabbed it from Jusco with 70% off! Great offer…
Last week, we’ve been staying in the room, cleaning and rearranging the furniture just to fit the bed in… This morning, we went to Pudu to buy the floor mat. And now, our room is just like what we’ve always wanted it to be! Ooohhh… how great! We’ve worked hard for it and will be working harder to achieve our next target…!
A Dinner for Staff
The Company organised a staff dinner in Dorsett Regency and had an entertaining night with everyone. Although I do not know basically everyone as we are all from various departments and some are not from the same building… The food was so-so only… The highlight of the night was the time when I was pulled in a game and even partnered with "that thing". Yes, the horrible "it" thing :"( … Got myself some products from the Company from the game and the lucky draw… as usual, I’m not the lucky one…
Congratulations to Navin & Ranjit
It’s so happy to see another couple got married… This round, it’s Navin & Ranjit. The colourful celebration in Sunway was indeed an enjoyable one for everyone. Mein & I tried one of the Sikh’s traditional food called "Aloo Tikki" and loved it! It’s some sort like a piece of mashed potato served with sweet, sour and spicy sauce on it plus some preserved vegetables. Very good appetizer.
I wish both Navin & Ranjit happy forever and may them be blessed with happiness and joy in their life…
Ideas from IKEA
IKEA is having their sales now. We went there to survey some ideas for our future house. To my surprise, the price for their items/ furniture are not as cheap as they claimed in their ad. But we still enjoyed ourselves their strolling along the alley and looking at their showrooms.
They also have some stations with 3D interior design software for us to use and get a feel of our home with decorated with IKEA’s furniture and all. The system is quite easy to use where you just key in the measurements of the room (kitchen/ bedroom/ work room only available) and drag in your chosen IKEA furniture in from a list. Then click 3D view to have a look at your future room from the computer.
