Mickey Mouse & friends are in NZX. Brought my family there and it was quite easy to find that place actually (despite some complains saying that the place is very remote and hidden).
I heard from the radio that the entrance to the Disney lantern show is FREE. So, I brought my whole family there. Parked my car in NZX with a cost of RM2. But it was quite convenient coz there were ample parking lots available.
There were also a lot of colourful and beautiful stalls leading us to the lantern area. Upon reaching the entrance, there was a long queue. I was like "Hmm… is there something free or what?!"… Checking out the counter, rupa-rupanya kena bayar!!! HUH? I thought it’s free!!?!!!
Coupons sold at RM10 per adults & RM5 per child. But the coupons can be used to purchase selected items there. So, it’s ok lah…
There were beautiful lanterns and figurine (big statues) of Disney characters and me, being myself, transformed into a kid there – just like when I was in HK Disneyland. Haha! Quite embarrassing but what to do?
The group of lanterns I like the most was the one which features all the main characters of Disney – Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy & Goofy.
We used 2 of our coupons to purchase this picture.
Sweet memory with my family… and had an enjoyable time there. The RM60 was worth it! ~ Not only to see the lanterns but the precious time to be with my family. And btw, we used our balance 4 coupons to purchase an umbrella (3 coupons) and a cup (1 coupons).
It has been a very long time I have not been to Templer’s Park. I still remember it was a usual place for my friends and I to venture during the scouts time. So fast, it was more than 10 years ago!!! Ouch!
The return brought back a lot of memories to me. That’s so fascinating! Unbelievable… 10 years!
As usual, my father who loves this kind of places, led us to the waterfall spot. With all the food and picnic utensils in hand, we walk our way happily, struggling to get rid of leeches and mosquitoes.
Reaching the waterfall was so fruitful and it was indeed still very beautiful and scenic. What more?! Let’s party!!! We cleaned up the camp spot and my father started the fire for BBQ. At the meantime, we jumped into the cool water and relaxed.
I was very glad to see the water is very clear and grateful that the cleanliness there was still in order. Thank you so much for everyone whom has been doing their part in keeping the nature healthy and clean.
Yay!!! Let’s go to the waterfall…
Look at all the things in our hands… This was the most important one… The marinated chicken wings!!!
The blue-ish leaves we saw along the path. Magical nature…
Be careful… this is another task for us!
Dried leaf… Eh, macam tak pernah tengok daun…
A scene from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"… Hahaha!
At last!!! The beautiful waterfall…
Everyone jumped into the water already…
Guess what we saw when we walked back?
The footprints of wild boars!!! RUN!!!!!
Introducing the leech which sucked my blood… You naughty lil’ vampire!
Another trip before starting my new job. Went to Cameron Highlands with my friends – 3 pairs : Foo Weng + Riko, Mei Leng + Chi Hong & Mein + I. This was a much awaited trip which it’s hard to get my primatz (primary schoolmates) to go for a trip. Fun! Fun! Fun! But I found out that Cameron Highlands has changed a lot since I’ve visited that place many years back. There are too many strawberry farms there now. I love the clean air there and the cool breezy wind… But the bad thing was that I was sick, having running nose and coughing all the while – post journey sickness from Hanoi trip (I guess)…

We stayed here for 1 night. RM350 for a 3 rooms apartment (Penthouse somemore. No bad!)
RM13.00 per pax for steamboat.
We were stuck in a massive jam when we wanted to leave Cameron Highlands!
Can you believe that we saw this when we were on the way down? Fedex & G-Dex, you’ve lost.
