Mickey & Friends in NZX
Mickey Mouse & friends are in NZX. Brought my family there and it was quite easy to find that place actually (despite some complains saying that the place is very remote and hidden).
I heard from the radio that the entrance to the Disney lantern show is FREE. So, I brought my whole family there. Parked my car in NZX with a cost of RM2. But it was quite convenient coz there were ample parking lots available.
There were also a lot of colourful and beautiful stalls leading us to the lantern area. Upon reaching the entrance, there was a long queue. I was like "Hmm… is there something free or what?!"… Checking out the counter, rupa-rupanya kena bayar!!! HUH? I thought it’s free!!?!!!
Coupons sold at RM10 per adults & RM5 per child. But the coupons can be used to purchase selected items there. So, it’s ok lah…
There were beautiful lanterns and figurine (big statues) of Disney characters and me, being myself, transformed into a kid there – just like when I was in HK Disneyland. Haha! Quite embarrassing but what to do?
The group of lanterns I like the most was the one which features all the main characters of Disney – Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy & Goofy.
We used 2 of our coupons to purchase this picture.
Sweet memory with my family… and had an enjoyable time there. The RM60 was worth it! ~ Not only to see the lanterns but the precious time to be with my family. And btw, we used our balance 4 coupons to purchase an umbrella (3 coupons) and a cup (1 coupons).
Being a Car Racing Spectator…
A friend of mine got free tickets to the A1GP KL 2008. What more? Went there with much enthusiasm and excitement. It was my first time ever being a car racing spectator. I have never watch this kind of race before, not even on the TV. Well, it was not bad though. Although it was rather hot and noisy. But we really enjoyed such experience.
The event reminded me of my experience working in F1 Shanghai 2004. It was such a great experience having the opportunity to work there. It was just for a short 5 days but it was worth it. I was still in my Uni life when I got the offer to fly there. I still remember the hardship we went through and the difficulties to go there with my other 4 mates and there was something which happened eventually which was not a big deal after all. I will NEVER forget such event of my life.
Keller (the lady in the last picture) is a good friend I knew from the event.

A Feast of Rich Food in JOGOYA
Tis’ the season of promotion in Jogoya. 50% off for ladies. Went there with ma, May and Yin. 4 of us reached there right on time and started our journey of rich food from 11am to 2pm (But we left early as we were too full to stuff ourselves at 1.30pm).
It was too happy to be true that I met my ex-colleague who is now working in Jogoya. She gave me 5 VIP tickets to try out their VIP dishes. Too nice of you, Jen Ne – muacks!
There were too many food to try. We didn’t even bother to look at those spaghetti, noodles or whatever they have at the other side of the restaurant.
My biggest surprise of the day was that a human-being can really get too tired of fresh oyster in just one meal.
My biggest disappointment was that their cakes and bakeries are too lousy. None of them impresses me. Not even their chocolate fudge or anything with chocolates there. They really need to buck up on it!
We tried 5 of their VIP dishes and I liked their flower tea the most!

Steam King Oyster in Black Pepper Sauce. Look at the size difference!
Thai Cuisine in Jalan Alor
I was being recommended to try out a Thai Restaurant in Jalan Alor by a friend. I have always wanted to go but I couldn’t until last Saturday.
The interior of this small yet humble restaurant
Seafood Tom Yam – RM15.00 (for 2 pax)
Mein and I tried their Seafood Tom Yam and Mango Kerabu. Needless to say, the food was indeed very authentic and rich with the original Thai cuisine taste. We will definitely come back for more…
This restaurant is located a few shop next to the church at the Jalan Alor junction, behind KFC.
