Nasi Impit is a traditional Malay cooking that is made of rice that has been cooked and compressed into a solid block or cylinder, and then cut into small cubes. It resembles our Malaysians favourite, ketupat, which is also made of compressed rice, except that ketupats are cooked in a woven pouch made of palm leaves. Usually nasi impit is served with many kinds of delicious dishes like rendang, sambal, dried chili flakes, satay and peanut sauce.

Although it is a straightforward process, making Nasi Impit takes some time. However, you can quickly and easily prepare this classic dish using Love Earth Organic’s Jasmine Rice and seasoning. The products from Love Earth Organic are healthier options for you and your family because they are 100% natural and organic.

Poached Chicken Pumpkin Mee Sua with Love Earth Mushroom Seasoning

Chinese wheat noodles known as mee sua are thin and are frequently used in soups and stir-fries. It is well-known for its delicate texture and mild flavour and is a common comfort food in many Asian countries. In this recipe, I will be using Love Earth Pumpkin Mee Sua (mix), which comes in four mixed flavors – original, pumpkin, spinach, and beetroot, pairs well with savory flavors like chicken and mushrooms.

Poach chicken thighs first, that’s what you’ll need to do. By gently simmering food in water until it is thoroughly cooked, you can prepare food by poaching. Because this recipe calls for moist, tender chicken, poaching is a great way to maintain those qualities. Poach the chicken thigh for eight minutes. The chicken should then be taken out of the pot and submerged for a short while in ice water. By doing so, you’ll be able to stop the cooking process and preserve the chicken’s juicy texture.

Time to prepare the Mee Sua now. The four mixed flavours of Love Earth Mee Sua are original, pumpkin, spinach, and beetroot. I am using the pumpkin flavour in this recipe. Just boil the mee sua in the chicken broth for about 3 minutes. Remember to add in Love Earth Mushroom Seasoning into the soup to taste. Once the mee sua is cooked, serve it in a bowl and add in vegetable and the poached chicken.

This recipe is an excellent choice for a quick and simple lunch or dinner. Additionally, it is a nutrient-dense meal that is high in protein, fibre, and vitamins. A delicious umami flavour is added by the Love Earth Mushroom Seasoning, and the pumpkin Mee Sua is a distinctive and delectable take on a traditional dish.
