Big Blue @ Mid Valley

bbpop

The big blue whale is here in Mid Valley… It’s a relatively small-scaled exhibition held in the East Atrium, Ground Floor by NatGeo. A "statue" of a life-sized baby whale became the ‘star’ as it is the main attraction of the whole event. The setback of this event was that there were not much staff (and noise!) there to attract people and give out information about the main purpose of the whole event. Most people mainly just walk by, take photos of the whale and then go away. Actually I would like to suggest that if there are more of such event in the future, make it in a bigger scale and bring in more attractions; like interactive games or info kiosks for the public, more happening staff to attract the crowd and some freebies may help as well. I believe there will be more of such meaningful event to create awareness to the public of the importance of keeping our nature safe all living-beings in the nearest coming time. Kudos to the organiser for taking the initiative in making this an inaugural one!

A Visit to Kinraramas

We went to Kinraramas just now to collect our referral fee… finally, after nearly half a year waiting… It’s just a short visit as I need to rush to Cheras to pay my road tax and car insurance… Sigh… Money out again… 😦

Anyway, here are the latest photos I took with my Nokia… Can’t wait for it to be ready… The tentative date for completion is this year end… CF by early next year… Let’s pray hard for this… By then, I’ll get ready a list of "things-I-need-for-our-new-house" and you guys can choose the items as a gift during my house-warming party… Hahaha!… Don’t I make life easier for you guys?! 🙂 Hehehe… just joking!

Steamboat-ing with Colleagues & A Cute Baby…

As planned, my fellow colleagues and I went for steamboat-ing in Yuen Steamboat, Sunway on the last day of March. Mui Mui brought her daughter along. Her name is Shun Yee… A very cute girl… The mother said she looks like her, so that’s why she’s cute… Hmmm… True also~lah…

Qing! Qing! Qing Ming!

This year’s Qing Ming is done today and we all woke up at 5am and started our journey to Nirwana Memorial Park in Semenyih at 5.30am… The earlist we have ever done. And still there was jam already… But compared to last year, the jam was short, just at the main entrance… lucky!~

When we reached there, it’s all dark… Can’t even see a thing! No road lamps and all… Sigh… But still, there were earlier groups of people there already… praying and offering goods to their dead relatives… OMG!!! Did they camp there overnight or what?!?!? Haha!

As usual, after offering fruits, food and incense to our grandparents (from Pa’s side), we started our "picnic"… Eating the food offered… Not sure is this a tradition for eating the food offered or not but we’ve been doing this since last time… So… MAKAN!!!!!!!! Haha!
