It is Officially Dead

It was bought in February 2007. It has been sent back to the factory to repair its faulty directional buttons in July 2007. By then, it was still under warranty. In May 2008, we brought it with us to our Hanoi trip and upon checking in into LCCT, it went through the custom scanning and from then onwards, it became faulty. The pictures we took became either too bright, too white or with stripes.

Sent back to the shop and requested for a quotations of repair. They came back to us after more than one month waiting. The price for repair is RM450 which is to replace its lense. I told them "No, thanks!"

And today, I officially pronounce it "DEAD!"

Night Before Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Spent a warm Christmas eve dinner with family yesterday. Had pizzas, fishballs, dim sums (Yes! Dim sum for dinner!) and fruit rojak. It’s just a closed and average dinner.

Also took out the once-a-year X’mas tree and started decorating it. As a tradition, we had a gift exchange session among the siblings and ma. Our budget this year is RM7.

That’s how an average Christmas should be and we love it! Enjoyed ourselves to the max.

Guess what I got?! 🙂

Siti Nurhaliza

Catch “Lentera Timur” Soon…

After such a long wait, finally, Siti is coming out with her fourth contemporary tradisional album and 13th studio album, Lentera Timur. This album compiles the hardwork of various local producers and song-writers as well as one from Indonesia. Really looking forward for this album. Will there be a song as competitive and well-composed as Nirmala (from Sanggar Mustika)? Will there be a song as famous as Cindai (from Cindai)?

Look forward for it from 26 December 2008 onwards.

*Lentera Timur means light from the East. I suppose Siti is hoping that this album would be a ray of light to the local traditional music scene as it is fading away slowly from the local music industry right after Siti’s last album, Sanggar Mustika. Will this album be the light in the "dark"?
